Guest Chef: A Winter’s Greek Feast with Diane Kochilas

  • Joyful Kitchen Cooking School 12 Greenwood Road Wellesley, MA 02481 (map)

Special Guest Chef

We are honored to welcome internationally acclaimed Greek chef, cookbook author, and television host of My Greek Table, Diane Kochilas, for a special workshop of cooking, storytelling, and gathering around the table.

While Greek cuisine is often associated with summer, Diane will reveal its soulful winter side—drawing inspiration from her home island of Ikaria, one of the world’s renowned “Blue Zones”, where food, tradition, and daily life are deeply connected to health and longevity. Through seasonal Greek cooking, Diane will demonstrate how simple, nourishing ingredients bring warmth, balance, and wellness to the colder months. As Diane cooks, she’ll share personal stories, culinary wisdom, and insights into the Blue Zone way of eating, offering a deeper understanding of how food supports both vitality and joy.

The classes will reflect the spirit of the Greek table—abundant, welcoming, and centered on the comfort of cooking and eating together. Guests will enjoy a live cooking demonstration, a multi-course tasting, and an engaging Q&A. Diane’s cookbooks, including her latest book Athens: Food, Stories, Love, will be available for purchase and signing. Join us for an unforgettable class of food, stories, and shared warmth.
