Part I / Guided Market Tour: Join us for a guided visit to Patel Brothers in Waltham, a popular Indian supermarket known for sourcing high-quality ingredients from across South Asia. They connect home cooks with the authentic flavors, ingredients, and traditions of Indian cooking and they have every Indian ingredient, snack, and condiment you could ever want. Together, we’ll wander the aisles and get acquainted with the vibrant pantry staples at the core of Indian home kitchens. You’ll learn how to choose quality spices, grains, teas, produce, pickles, and countless other products, and how they work together to create deeply flavorful meals.

Guests may choose to meet at Joyful Kitchen to carpool or drive directly to the store. Bring a bag (or two!) and leave with groceries and inspiration to create vibrant Indian dishes in your own kitchen.
